Drug dealer ordered to pay back pickings.

A drug dealer who pocketed more than pounds 20,000 from his life of crime has been ordered to pay back the money. Hugh Errol Davies, of Aberaman, was sentenced to five-and-a- half years in jail after being convicted of drug trafficking at Merthyr Crown Court in October this year.

He was taken back to court by the Financial Investigation Unit of South Wales Police this week and given six months to pay back pounds 23,740 - the figure he had apparently made from dealing heroin.

It is believed that the 54-year-old may now have to sell his home to fund the payment.
