Drs. Ginger and Howard Chasolen.
Drs. Ginger R. and Howard M. Chasolen, a husband-and-wife dental team, combine the highest and most up-to-date clinical standards in the dental profession with a deep belief in establishing lasting, quality relationships with their clients.
It's a commitment that's obvious from the moment clients walk through the door. Extremely personable and caring, the Chasolens spend the time required to get to know their clients, inform them about every option available and help them to identify their goals. They have found that people will make good choices for themselves once they understand how these choices affect their lives.
"The greatest gift we can give a client is the time to identify and understand the relevance of their issues and then deliver our finest clinical services within that context," says Howard Chasolen.
The Chasolens are two of a handful of trained prosthodontists in the area, an American Dental Association specialty granted to qualified dentists who have successfully completed a three-year residency program in advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry. In addition, Howard Chasolen is fellowship-trained in implant dentistry. They are members of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American College of Oral Implantology and the Academy of Osseo-integration (implant dentists).
In a practice using the most up-to-date technology and sterilization methods, the Chasolens take a long-term approach to dentistry and know that patchwork repair and quick fixes are neither good financial investments nor long-term solutions. Always, their goal is to maintain their clients' dental health so that they never have to face the choice of losing teeth; but if restorative work is in order, the Chasolens' extensive training has made them Sarasota's experts in implants, crowns, bridges, veneers and other methods that rebuild and restore the mouth for both health and cosmetic reasons. In addition, Ginger Chasolen completed her fellowship training in maxillofacial prosthodontics, a sub-specialty that enables her to replace lost facial structure, using implants and silicone prostheses for people with conditions such as cleft palates, facial trauma and cancer.
"Practicing dentistry this way gives everyone involved an overwhelming sense of satisfaction," says Ginger Chasolen. "Providing exquisite clinical services to achieve the goals of our clients is the ultimate expression of our partnership with each other and with our clients."
