Driver hurt after car hits telegraph pole.

A MOTORIST has been left seriously injured after his car left a Warwickshire road and collided with a telegraph pole.

The incident took place in Austrey, on Thursday at about 2.45am.

The man's green Renault Clio left No Mans Heath Lane, crashed and flipped over. Fire crews had to cut the man free from the wreckage, He was later taken to University Hospital, Walsgrave.


He had suffered neck injuries and his condition is being described as "serious".

He was alone in the car at the time of the accident.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed it or seen the man's car before the collision took place. Call 01926 415415.
