DreemTeem heads garage line-up.
The tour started at London's Le Palais nightspot and will head to Manchester and Newcastle after the Coventry date at SkyDome's Ikon and Diva nightclubs tomorrow.
The Dreem Teem, propelled to fame by their Radio One Sunday slot, is made up of DJ Spoony, Timmy Magic and Mikee B.
Birmingham Univer-sity has already booked two coach-loads of clubbers into the Coventry event, with their Nottingham and Leeds counterparts following suit.
Ikon manager Ian Knight said: "There are more than 20 top DJs and if you tried to book them all separately you would be looking at over pounds 30,000 worth of fees, so clubbers would never get the chance to see them.
"The fact that coaches are coming from all over the country shows how rare tickets for these events are."
Also appearing will be the Pay As You Go Cartel and music producer Johnny J.
Promoter Stavros Poulos says the tour is the most comprehensive garage night ever compiled.
He said: "The major labels have got behind garage, so the artists are as well-known and well-paid as their mainstream counterparts.
"That makes bills of this nature rarer and rarer. Most of the people appearing are doing it solely because of the commercial pulling power of being associated with the Dreem Teem.
"Coventry will be the focus of a massive music following this week."
"It is a great boost for SkyDome that artists and clubbers are so impressed when they see the setup at Ikon and Diva," Mr Poulos said.
