Academy Award- and Grammy Award-winning actress and recording artist Jennifer Hudson has hit a high note in AMERICAN FAMILY INSURANCE'S latest phase of its "Insure Carefully, Dream Fearlessly" marketing campaign. The campaign demonstrates the company's role as a brand that inspires, protects and restores dreams.

The latest phase includes two films in which Hudson surprises aspiring musicians. In a 30-secondTV spot, with a longer, online film, Hudson joins a street performer as he performs in a park in Atlanta. In the second online film, she surprises members of the Morehouse College Glee Club as they record a promo for their spring tour. The message of each film is that with the right support, any dream is possible, said Dwayne Maddox, American Family Insurance advertising director.

"When you have a dream that's driving you, insurance gives you the security to go forward fearlessly without worry," he said. "Jennifer Hudson is a perfect example of someone who strived for a dream and achieved it with the support of others. Music was used as a theme because it has the ability to bring people from all walks of life together--in the true spirit of the American family."
