Drama for Deayton.

SACKED presenter Angus Deayton is returning to his original career as an actor.

He was axed from Have I Got News For You? after drugs and sex revelations last year.

Now he is to star in BBC2's Nighty Night. Deayton will play a doctor in the comedy drama, billed as a West Country version of Fatal Attraction.

Since being binned by the Beeb, his only TV work has been on a comedy version of University Challenge and on Before They Were Famous.
