Dragons confident of firing on all cylinders again.

CATALAN Dragons head coach Laurent Frayssinous is confi-dent he can get his side up one more time for a tilt at a maiden Grand Final.

The French club, who finished seventh in the Super League table, are just 80 minutes away from a trip to Old Trafford after pulling off their shock away wins over Leeds and Huddersfield in the play-offs.

They will be back in the air yesterday in their private jet to prepare for tonight's semi-final against St Helens at Langtree Park and Frayssinous admits his players have spent more time travelling than training since securing their top-eight spot.

"We have only trained once this week and that was for 40 minutes on Tuesday morning," Frayssinous said.

"We have spent a lot of time on recovery and treatment but we know what we need to do.

"The club invested a lot in a private jet at the start of the year and we are benefiting from that at the end of the season.

"We are fitter and less tired than in previous seasons."

The Dragons coach and his players enjoyed a heroes' reception when they landed back in Perpignan airport at 3am on Saturday following their 18-16 win at Huddersfield last Friday night, with around 100 joyous fans showering them with confetti and serenading them with music.

"I can't imagine what it would be like if we went on and won the Grand Final, but we are far from it at the moment," added Frayssinous.

"We have just got to concentrate on taking it one step further.

"The main thing is to keep on believing."
