Douglas Elliman acquires luxury boutique, Space Marketing Shop.

Douglas Elliman has acquired two branches of Space Marketing Shop, a boutique real estate firm co-founded in 2011 by Edward Cho and Aran Scott.

The partners have since grown high-end residential firm to over 30 agents and over $500 million in sales.

The Long Island City branch located at 47-36 Vernon Blvd, and led by Cho, will be joining Elliman as The Cho Team, and will include 18 agents and one administrator.

The Brooklyn branch located at 190 5th Avenue in Park Slope, and led by Scott and Anthony Robles, will be joining Elliman as the Scott / Robles Team, and will include nine agents and one administrator. Both teams will continue to work out of their existing office spaces.

Brooklyn and Long Island City," said Max Dobens, Elliman's Senior Regional Executive Manager of Sales in Brooklyn.

"Their local knowledge of these markets and strong relationships within their communities are great assets to us. Not to mention, Edward, Aran and Anthony each have wonderful reputations for their work ethic, expertise, leadership skills and drive."

Born in South Korea and raised in Brazil, Edward Cho speaks several languages, including Korean and Portuguese.

Prior to founding Space Marketing Shop, Cho worked at Urban Sanctuary, where he was named Rookie of the Year in 2008 and the top producer by transactions in 2009. The following year, he joined Nest Seekers International.

Before launching a career in real estate, he was a corporate credit analyst for BankBoston (Fleet) in Brazil. Cho obtained his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from FAAP in Brazil.

Aran Scott has been working in the real estate industry since 2006.

Prior to establishing Space Marketing Shop, the native New Yorkers worked at Sotheby's International Realty and Urban Sanctuary. He holds Bachelor degrees in Finance and Marketing, and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Anthony Robles joined Space Marketing Shop in 2011 and went on to become a top-producing agent. Prior to his successful real estate career, he held senior management positions in the telecom industry for 12 years.

In 2016 Robles and Scott launched their mBrooklyn office, located in Park Slope, and in two years closed over $250,000,000 in sales.
