Summary: A double-decker bus has had it's top ripped off after crashing into a low railway bridge in Essex.

A double-decker bus has had its top ripped off after crashing into a low railway bridge in Essex.

There were no passengers on board at the time of the crash at Manningtree Station on Tuesday but police say the driver was treated for shock.

Engineers were called to the scene to assess any damage to the bridge.

At first, trains had to travel over it at 5mph, later the speed limit was raised to 20mph.
