Double joy as twins pick up degrees.

IDENTICAL twin sisters Jessica and Laura Pacey graduated from Warwick University within a few hours of each other.

The 21-year-olds are now looking forward to the future after three years studying at the same university together.

"We both applied to similar places but never thought we would end up in the same one," Jessica said. "We always thought we would go to a much prettier university but when we came here it had a certain charm about it and we knew we wanted to come here."

Jessica graduated with a first class degree in History.

Some 24 hours later her sister Laura collected her 2.1 in Classical Civilisation.

Keen to share each other's moment, the identical twins were given extra tickets by the university so they could attend each other's graduation ceremonies along with their parents.

Laura said: "It would have been nice to graduate on the same day but it was nice to see Jessica have her own day, I was beaming with pride for her."
