Dorothy will be Bangor Mayor; ROUND-UP.

DOROTHY Bulled MBE will be the Mayor of Bangor for the second time.

She will succeed Cllr Jean Forsyth from May.

Ms Bulled, who was Mayor in 2002/3 was elected Mayor at a recent meeting of the city council.

She said: "I'm thrilled to bits and I'm looking forward to working alongside the people of Gwynedd and organisations such as Bangor Pride.

"It's important we encourage people to support the city and make sure the place becomes vibrant again.

Coun Bulled received an MBE in 2008 for her voluntary work.
