Dorothy Jane (Healey) Jacubouis.
Dorothy Jane leaves: her husband, Michael Jacubouis; her brother, Edward J. and his wife Patricia; four nephews, Lt. Col. Daniel Healey, USMC, his wife Sheila and their five children, Thomas Healey, his wife Lisa and their three children, John Healey and his wife Lorrie; and their son, Major Edward Healey, Jr., USMC, his wife Lynn and their two children. Dorothy Jane was predeceased by her father, Raymond F. Healey, her mother, Miriam (Conway) Healey, and her nephew/Godson, Michael T. Healey.
Dorothy worked at the City of Worcester Libraries, and in Fairbanks, Alaska, Flint, MI, and Weathersfield, CT. Upon becoming sight-impaired, she went to Becker Junior College and earned a degree in Medical Transcription. Dorothy attended The Carroll Center in Newton, MA where she met her husband Michael, whom she married in 1981. She worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Central Maine Medical Center for many years.
In addition to the services at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 21, in New Gloucester, Maine, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, 929 Main Street in Worcester. The date and time will be announced as soon as they are determined. Dorothy chose cremation and her ashes will be buried in Maine in her husband's family plot.
