Doris Whittle, 102.

WORCESTER Doris Whittle, 102, of 16 Clifton St. died Sunday, November 1, in her home. Born in Worcester on December 1, 1906, daughter of James and Bertha (Reeby) Whittle, she graduated from UMass Amherst, and Worcester State College. She worked at the natural history museum, and in several Jr. High Schools. Doris was a life member of First Baptist Church, a 60 year member of its choir, and a life member of the Appalachian Mountain Club.

She enjoyed camping in national parks, poetry, literature, photography and crafts.

A celebration of life will take place Sunday, Nov. 22 at 11:15 a.m. in First Baptist Church. CASWELL-KING FUNERAL HOME, 474 Grove St. is handling arrangements.
