Don DeLillo papers acquired by University of Texas.

M2 BEST BOOKS-(C)2000-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

The archive of novelist Don DeLillo has been acquired by the University of Texas.

The collection includes around 120 boxes of notes, drafts and typescripts for the author's work, as well as articles, correspondence and unpublished material from 1959 through to 2003.

During his writing career DeLillo published 13 novels and three plays and received a number of awards including a National Book Award.

The archive will be made available to researchers and the public, reports The Associated Press.
