NOW that we have a Brexit victory, which some remainers just refuse to accept, and with Sturgeon and Salmond pursuing their folly of independence for Scotland, never before has Great Britain felt the need to rally around the Union flag, for "united we stand, divided we fall".

The people of Scotland are no fools and never have been, and when push comes to shove they will treat the language of independence by Sturgeon and Salmond with the contempt it deserves. It is a load of muck-slinging propaganda, in a language full of hate and envy.

Yes, we in England relish and enjoy the banter with the Scottish people, especially when it comes to sport, but when it comes down to the reality of life, having fought side by side in the two world wars of the last century, we the living owe it to all the soldiers and all the people who lost their lives to stand together in unity now and forever, just as we have done so since the beginning of the 17th century.

We should all be proud to live in Great Britain, the greatest country in the world. Oh yes, that is why people from all over the world want to come and live here. With Brexit we now have our freedom once more so let us therefore use it to our advantage and treasure it.

As for warmonger Tony Blair, a disgruntled remainer who's only self interest in Europe was his quest to be a future Euro commissioner, to be able to feather his own nest together with his sidekick Peter Mandelson who both want another referendum on the subject of Brexit as they cannot stomach defeat, they can both put up and shut up as they are both history.

As for all the doom-mongers claiming that Brexit will affect us as a great trading nation, that is nonsense talk. We are still respected worldwide. I believe that you can trade with your worst enemy, and we have done so in the past, but you don't have to go to bed with them.

The people of Scotland, I hope and pray, must not allow Sturgeon and Salmond to tear apart our great union, not today, tomorrow, or any other time. You can take a Brit out of Britain but you cannot take the British out of the Brit. Just like fish, Sturgeon and Salmond will end up one day dead in the water, belly up. Long live great union, God save Great Britain and God save the Queen.
