Don't fret... Mick's in town; IN BRIEF Tolbooth.

Leading blues guitarist Mick Simpson will bring his talents to theTolbooth later this month.

Still Got the Blues: ATribute to Gary Moore will take place Saturday, March 24 with support from the GreigTaylor Combo.

The show will see Mick team up with members of the original Gary Moore band - Graham Walker, Pete Rees and Vic Martin - with a series of other UK and European dates planned.

For decades Mick worked as a session guitarist, joining forces with likes of Elkie Brooks, John Parr of'St Elmo's Fire'fame and ex-Rolling Stone BillWyman's Rhythm Kings.

As a solo artist he has of late been extensively touring the UK and Europe with Black Rain - the album he released last year.
