Dominion Textile reports sales.

The 19th largest roll goods producer, Dominion Textile, Montreal, Canada, parent company of nonwovens producers Nordlys and Poly-Bond, reported sales and income figures for the overall company for the fourth quarter and for fiscal 1992. Consolidated sales for the year ending June 30 increased 8% to $1.4 billion, compared with $1.3 billion in 1991. Operating income showed a net improvement of more than $100 million over 1991. The corporation's industrial Products Group performed well, with Poly-Bond, Charlotte, NC, posting a strong 29% sales increase.

Sales increased 7% to $383.2 million in the fourth quarter of 1992, compared with the $358.1 million figure reported for the last quarter of 1991. Income rose by $26.2 million to $33.7 million, up from $7.5 million in 1991.
