Dometic, Temco Develop 'Idle Solutions' Package for Trucks.

Dometic Corporation and Temco Metal Products recently announced the signing of a joint agreement to develop an integrated auxiliary heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and power generation system for trucks, under the "Idle Solutions" brand name.

According to Dometic, the new products, which were unveiled earlier this month during the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY provide HVAC and electrical power for heavy-duty trucks while the engine is turned off.

"The Idle Solutions package will let you sleep comfortably in your truck, summer or winter, while complying with anti-idling laws, saving diesel fuel and reducing wear and tear on your truck's engine," said Dometic Environmental Systems vice president of marketing and strategic business development Lou Siegel.
