Dom urges Spurs mate Nath not to miss a trick.

Dominic Ball has told Spurs showman Nathan Oduwa to keep opening his box of tricks for Scottish football.

His fellow White Hart Lane loanee has overcome early controversy to light up the Championship with his skills.

And Ball insists his mate shouldn't even think about holding back with the flicks and flashes as long as they're winning Rangers points.

He said: "I've always said to him: 'Don't be afraid to just go and do things.' People say sometimes he just does it for the sake of it but with Nath, he gets results from it.

"Look at the penalties he has picked up, look at the assists he has provided.

"A lot of the top players are like that - Neymar, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho. He has that similar flair and if you try to take that away he becomes a different player.

"After the first time he was criticised, people saying he was disrespectful, the boss backed him. Knowing he has the gaffer and players behind him, that's enough for Nath."

Defender Ball has made less of an impact, starting just three games so far.

But the 20-year-old insisted: "The team is doing well and the manager might not want to change that.

"However, I trust in him and know I'll get more games then go back to Spurs as a better player."
