Dollingstown stung by spot-on Thistle; Dollingstown 4 B'bridge Tstle4 (Banbridge won 5-4 on pens).

DOLLINGSTOWN hosted top of the table Banbridge Thistle in the Marshall Cup, but lost out on penalties after an eightgoal thriller.

Thistle stormed into a two-goal lead after costly errors.

But Dollingstown pulled one back on halftime through Shaw.

Another error early on saw Thistle go 3-1 up.

'Town went for broke, going to two at the back, and it paid off as Lynch got a quick-fire double.

In extra-time Lynch completed his hat-trick, only for Thistle to equalise with the last kick of the game.

Penalties followed, and Dollingstown missed a spot kick to win the game.

Thistle took advantage to win after a further miss by Dollingstown.
