Doha all set to host Offshore Middle East 2013 conference.

Many reputable international and Qatari companies are backing the Offshore Middle East 2013 conference and exhibition that will be held in Doha from January 21 to 23.

They include ExxonMobil, Gulf Drilling International, Maersk Oil, Shell and Qatar Airways.

The event is also supported by Saudi Aramco, ABS, Total and KBR.

Organised by Offshore and hosted by Qatar Petroleum, Offshore Middle East 2013 celebrates its 4th year under the patronage of HE the Minister for Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

Tom Fowler, event director, PennWell Corporation, organisers of the event, said, "With strong support from major stakeholder in the region, the event is shaping up to be the best event yet with distinguished speakers and companies that reflect the heart of the offshore oil and gas industry".

The event will commence with the opening plenary and ribbon cutting ceremony on January 21 featuring keynote speakers including al-Sada, Mubarak A al-Hajri , Qatar Petroleum Operations Manager (Offshore Fields) and David Paganie, chief editor, Offshore magazine and director (Offshore Conferences) PennWell Corporation.
