Dog lead Lynndie jail deal.
THE female US soldier pictured with a naked Iraqi prisoner on a leash yesterday admitted seven charges of abuse.
Army reservist Lynndie England, 22, could face 11 years behind bars when she is sentenced later this week.
But in a deal to cut her sentence, prosecutors at a military court in Texas dropped a count of committing an indecent act and of dereliction of duty.
She admitted two counts of conspiracy to maltreat prisoners, four of maltreating prisoners and one of committing an indecent act.
Last year England became the face of the prisoner abuse scandal at Abu Ghraib prison.
She was also shown pointing at the genitals of a naked male prisoner while smiling and posing beside captives stacked in a pyramid.
Defence lawyer Rick Hernandez says he will reveal evidence that England has severe learning and mental problems.
England is one of seven members of the 372nd Military Police Company charged with humiliating and assaulting prisoners at Abu Ghraib.
Her lawyers say they were told to "soften up" Iraqis for interrogation.
But investigators say England claimed the photos were taken while "joking around."
