Dog Racing: Ciaras to prove king of the Castle.

Byline: MICHAEL FORTUNE

DUNDALK's bookmakers won't be bearing any gifts tonight when the e10,000-to-the-winner Yeah Man@Stud Junior Puppy Cup final is run over the 400 yards two-bend trip.

Seamus Quinn's Ciaras Castle has been in sensational form in the competition and will be a red-hot favourite to maintain his unbeaten record.

The son of Knockeevan Major is trained by Nuala Lynch and gave the track record a bit of a shaking in the second round when coming home in 21.10sec.

He has been a wide-margin winner in all rounds and it is difficult to imagine anything troubling him this time.

The likes of Swithin Jo and Cals Bureaucrat probably constitute the major dangers, but it will be quite a shock if Ciaras doesn't prove to be king of the castle.
