Documentation manual. (Product Spotlight).

Briggs Corporation, in cooperation with top dementia consultants, has designed a documentation manual specifically for the needs of persons with dementia in the long-term care setting.

The Dementia Care Documentation Manual for Long-Term Care provides an in-depth understanding of various types of dementia and dementia-related behaviors; a standardized process for documenting care and services provided; assistance with risk management issues; support for staff development and education with easy-to-understand and easy-to-use instructions; and a correlation to federal regulations.

The manual coordinates with Briggs' Comprehensive Documentation System to support a facility's efforts to provide high-quality, individualized resident care and services.
