Document Sciences Corporation Adds New Director and Officers.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 1999--

Document Sciences, (Nasdaq:DOCX), a global provider of document automation solutions, has announced the appointment of a director and three new vice presidents.

Beth Galdieri to Director of Marketing and Business Development, Ann F. Kana, to Vice President of Worldwide Professional Services, Jack McGannon to Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and John H. Wilson to Vice President, Finance.

Galdieri joined Document Sciences Corporation in October 1998 as Director of Business Development. Galdieri has also served as acting Director of Marketing since December 1998. For the six years prior to joining Document Sciences Corporation, Galdieri was employed by IBM Lotus and mosyears in software engineering R & D.

Kana seven years with Andersen Consulting, serving as a Manager in their Financial and Commercial Services Divisiroup and held various management positions in Product Development, Marketing and Finance from 1990 through 1on served as Manager, Financial Analysis and Pl 1988 to 1997 in a variety of finance and accounting positions.
