Doctor charged with terror conspiracy.

A doctor was remanded in custody yesterday charged with conspiracy to cause explosions in relation to the failed car bomb attacks on London and Glasgow Airports.

Mohammed Jamil Asha, 26, who appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates Court in London, is accused of conspiring with Bilal Abdullah, Kafeel Ahmed and "others unknown".

The doctor, from Newcastle- under-Lyme, was remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on July 27.

Asha spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address at the brief court hearing. He was the fourth person to be charged in connection with the terror plot.

He was arrested on the M6 in the wake of the attacks.
