Diver dies while searching for Kenya Airways voice cockpit recorder.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Efforts to recover the voice cockpit recorder from the Kenya Airways Airbus 310 aircraft that crashed off the Ivory Coast on 30 January have been blackened by a diving accident in which one person has died.

Details of the accident are unknown, but two other divers have been placed in decompression chambers to recover after the incident according to Air Security International.
