The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has two new employees.

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association (ANA), provides individuals and organizations throughout the nursing profession with the resources they need to achieve practice excellence. ANCC's internationally renowned credentialing programs certify nurses in specialty practice areas; recognize healthcare organizations for promoting safe, positive work environments through the Magnet Recognition Program[R] and the Pathway to Excellence[R] Program; and accredit providers of continuing nursing education. In addition, ANCC's Institute for Credentialing Innovation[R] provides leading-edge information and education services and products to support its core credentialing programs. ANCC is the world's largest and most prestigious nurse credentialing organization.

The Magnet Recognition Program[R] of the Magnet Learning Communities[TM] (MLC), is an internet-based collaborative for nurses engaged in improving patient care outcomes and excellence in nursing practice. The MLC provides an opportunity for nurses from Magnet[R] designated facilities to connect and share best practices, resources, research, experiences, and strategies that have led to quality patient care, nursing excellence, and innovations in professional nursing practice.

ANCC's Institute for Credentialing Innovation[R] produces a variety of educational services and products to support those seeking certification, Magnet recognition, Pathway designation, or Accreditation.
