FORMBY: Primary school pupils from across Formby have combined nature and technology to help shape the future of the town's coastal woodlands. Some 200 children have put across their views about the future of Sefton's coastal woodlands on www.pinewoods-project.org.uk as part of a wider public consultation.

BOOTLE: A fun day organised by a housing association will be held later this month. One Vision Housing is staging the event, with face painters, climbing walls, police horses, and clowns, on June 21. It will be held at Fernhill Sports Centre, Fernhill Road, Bootle, between 11am and 3pm.
