Disney said near sale of Super RTL.

German media reports suggest that Disney is on the verge of selling its 50% stake in Teutonic tyke web Super RTL to CLT/Ufa. The financial weekly Wirtschaftswoche reported last week that the agreement is all but finalized.

Deal would bring the Luxembourg-based media group one step closer to achieving the goal it set after selling its chunk of pay TV Premiere to the Kirch Group: consolidate its German webs, namely RTL, RTL2 and Super RTL, into a "family of broadcasters."

CLT/Ufa has confirmed that it is in negotiations with Disney. The announcement of programming changes on the kids web has also led insiders to suspect a deal is near.
