Diskettes coverup.

The 3 1/2" computer diskettes are a vast improvement over the floppies--and therein lies the danger. Believing them to be rugged, most users just carry the diskettes uncovered in a pocket or toss them into a briefcase when transporting them. That's a dangerous practice because the disk's sliding door can jam or admit dirt, ruining the disk and all the data on it.

Fuji's Computer Media Division has introduced disks with individual carrying cases. In addition, the cases are stackable, each capable of snapping into other Fuji Singles, as they are called. The Singles retail for $2.59 for double-density formats and $4.29 for the high-density formats.
