series: title

The series is published three times a year, and presents articles and opinions for scholars selected more for being stimulating than being of a particularly high quality. Nine articles in a variety of languages explore such topics as the spiritual and the sexual in ancient Egypt, a late Egyptian verbal construction with a sense of criticism and sarcasm still used in Egyptian colloquial Arabic, and the latest hieroglyphic word-processing software. Six book reviews are also included. The articles are reproduced from typescript, and not indexed. Distributed in the US by the David Brown Book Company.
