Discovery Networks lease 32,000 sf st 641 Lexington.

Discovery Networks, the prominent Bethesda, Maryland-based cable television, network, has leased approximately 32,000 square feet of space at 641 Lexington Avenue. Lewis Rudin, president of Rudin Management Company, made the announcement.

Discovery will occupy the entire eighth and part of the ninth floors, where it will house its advertising sales, traffic and research operations, as well as part of its marketing and production divisions.

The firm has witnessed steady growth over the last few years, and in 1991 purchased cable television's The Learning Channel.

Commenting on the Transaction, Lewis Rudin said, "We are extremely pleased that we were able to accommodate this valued tenant in its changing space requirements, and look forward to maintaining our longstanding relationship with them as they continue to grow."

Bruce E. Mosler, chairman, and Mitchell Konsker, senior vice president of Riverbank Realty, represented the tenant on the transaction on behalf of both the owner and tenant.
