Direct marketing agency starts "IT Solutions Journal".

Solution Publishing (Los Angeles, CA), a division of NuOS Corp., a direct marketing agency whose clients include such companies as Oracle, Sun and Microsoft, has begun the publication of IT Solutions Journal with an issue in February. It will be published bimonthly until this summer when frequency will be increased to monthly. It has an initial controlled circulation of 25,000, increasing to 75,000 when frequency changes.

The new title is being targeted to corporate IT professionals involved in purchasing equipment, Internet systems and servers. The circulation list has been culled from NuOS' database of 500,000 IT professionals it has gathered over the last seven years.

Editorial for the magazine is being written by senior IT executives who work throughout industry and primarily for Fortune 1000 companies. It will include information on case studies and NuOS said the authors will "describe in detail how they've solved some of the trickiest technology challenges in IT" and made "multiple products work together in a total solution." Topics to be covered include Internet security, software development, gathering and processing information and data, enterprise solutions, and technology implementation.
