Dipsticks are an innovative and new idea for finger foods, buffets, starters and even main meal centres from Fairway Foodservice, the nationwide network of locally owned food wholesalers.
They are slender, goujon-style fingers of white fish in three exciting flavours: Pernod, in a light and crispy crumb coating flecked with Dill; Tequila and Fresh Lemon in a coating flecked with Sea Salt and Rye; and Vodka and Fresh Lime with a coating of flecked Parsley.
Each Dipstick weighs 16-17g and will deep-fry from frozen in under three minutes. Unit size is approximately 65 pieces.
Also new are three varieties of upmarket Fishcakes. Tuna and Mozzarella Fish Cakes are made with fresh tuna, cubes of Mozzarella and real potato which are seasoned with parsley and lemon and coated in a natural, crispy breadcrumb.
Smoked Haddock Fish Cakes are made with smoked haddock and real potato seasoned with parsley and lemon and coated in a natural, crispy breadcrumb.
Sweet Chilli Cod and Prawn Fish Cakes contain cold-water prawns, cod and real potato seasoned with chilli and lime in a natural, crispy crumb.
The 100g Fish Cakes are packed in 12s and will deep fry from frozen in under eight minutes.
