DiiVA Ready for Prime Time, Ecosystem in Place for Home Entertainment Networking.

Products Showcase Digital Multimedia Networking at CES - Ready for Installation

LAS VEGAS -- The Digital Interactive Interface for Video & Audio[TM] (DiiVA[TM]) consortium will showcase products ready to enable homes with the next-generation home network architecture at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show, January 10-13. DiiVA's innovative technology enables users to go well beyond traditional viewing boundaries, paving the way for a new home entertainment viewing experience that is easy to navigate, personal and social.

TVs featuring DiiVA, including TCL's recent model 58X9200-3D, will demonstrate the rich functionality that makes simple navigation possible. With DiiVA, consumers can interact with their content quickly and intuitively by clicking an icon on their TV, tablet or smartphone and immediately view it--without having to remember the original source or device on which the content resides.

Underscoring ecosystem readiness, industry partners will be on hand at the DiiVA booth to showcase their supporting products. GVision and Foxconn will display adapter and switch devices. Foxconn, Hosiden, and Luxi will show an array of DiiVA cables and connectors, and test equipment manufacturer, Chroma, will demonstrate its latest video pattern generator supporting DiiVA signal protocols.

Also on display are DiiVA transmitter, receiver, switch and middleware solutions from Synerchip, a founding member of the DiiVA consortium and first to market with DiiVA IC products.

"DiiVA has made significant progress over the past year to enable a complete ecosystem of products that range from displays, switches, adapters, middleware and software, to key IC, cable and connector components. Supported by a comprehensive compliance test program that ensures interoperability between devices, DiiVA is the most advanced multimedia specification poised to bring affordable home entertainment networks to consumers in China and around the globe," said Steve Yum, president of DiiVA Licensing, LLC. "We look forward to partnering with CE makers and installers to deploy this technology."

Application developers, device manufacturers, technology infrastructure companies, content owners and service providers aimed at enabling a new entertainment experience are encouraged to visit booth 20656, LVCC South Hall or contact admin@diiva.org to schedule an appointment.
