Diff open for film submissions.

Calling local filmmakers. Here's your chance to compete in the Muhr Competition that aims to recognise filmmaking talents from the UAE and other Gulf countries.

The Dubai International Film Festival (Diff), which will be held from December 9-16 this year, is now accepting submissions from filmmakers of Arab nationality who are looking to participate in the narrative feature (fiction and non-fiction), short film and documentary categories.

The deadline for submissions is August 31. Films that have been produced after September 2014 are eligible.

The 12th edition of Diff has also included a new section titled Muhr Gulf Shorts for fiction and non-fiction shorts. To submit a film and to check the rules, visit dubaifilmfest.com.
