Wednesday, March 14 "Fit for Fun" friendship and flowers, Stannington Village Hall 1pm to 4pm tea/coffee and biscuits from 12.15pm. Presentation by area speakers. Floral demonstrations by the fit and famous. Raffle, tombola, quiz and plant stall.

Thursday, March 15 Dunelm Flower Club, Lucy Hutton Smith will present flotsam and jetsam. All demonstrations are held at Durham High School for Girls, Farewall Hall, South Road, Durham, DH1 3TB. Warkworth and District Flower Club, demonstration by Mrs K Gibson 'A Floral Card' A practical evening. All meetings are held in the Memorial Hall on the third Thursday of each month, everyone is welcome to join the society at any meeting.

Tuesday, March 20 Stocksfield Plants and Gardens Society, Alistair Baldwin - 'The Design and Planting of Wynyard Hall Rose Garden. Alistair is an award-winning garden designer, based in North Yorkshire. He was commissioned in 2005 to create the new rose garden at Wynyard Hall in its restored wall garden which has 3,000 roses.

Meetings are at 7.30pm in the Community Centre. Guests welcome.

Monday, March 26 Tynemouth Flower Club, Marion Hinchley will demsonstrate Back to Basics. The club meets at Holy Saviours Parish Hall, Tynemouth at 7pm.

Wednesday, March 28 Lanchester Flower Club, Karl Brunton will demsonstrate Anything Goes, meet at Lanchester Community Centre at 2pm.
