Dialogue in English?

I applaud Bahraini people's efforts to reach a peaceful resolution to the troubles of the past few months.

I have been living here for two years and am as interested in the events unfolding at the National Dialogue as any Bahraini.

I try to keep abreast of local affairs through contacts and newspapers, but am increasingly frustrated that Bahrain TV doesn't pay us the courtesy of having subtitles in English.

This has been a bugbear of mine since the commencement of events at the former GCC (Pearl) roundabout, which seems like a lifetime ago. Why can't Bahrain TV provide this simplest of service to non-Arabic expats? This affects us all, not just those who speak Arabic.
