Devils set for Bison double-up.

Thomson Cardiff Devils complete their Elite League regular season this weekend with back-to-back matches against Basingstoke Bison. And they look certain to go into a play-off group with Belfast Giants, Coventry Blaze and either Basingstoke Bison or Edinburgh Capitals.

Those fixtures, Cardiff playing each of the others home and away, will be sorted out next week.

Centre Rejjie Stringer is back in the Devils line-up, having returned to South Wales from North America, as Devils go to Basingstoke tomorrow and then play them at home on Sunday (6pm).

JON Cullen, the former Thomson Cardiff Devils forward, has played a key role in taking Bremerhaven top of the table in Germany.

Cullen left the Devils during the summer to sign for Bremerhaven, but was close to a return.

He remains one of Cardiff's top targets for 2006-2007 and scored 55 points (21 goals plus 34 assists) in 55 games during the league season.

Bremerhaven play in the second tier of German ice hockey and they earned 105 points, four more than runners-up Landshut Cannibals.
