Device eliminates tedious manual operations.

Booth 1950. CRYSTEX QC represents a step forward in technology for automating amorphous phase determination (also known as xylenes solubles) in QC laboratories of polypropylene (PP) plants. It overcomes all difficulties of the old-style gravimetric methods based on traditional wet chemistry. It also eliminates the use of external filtration or extraction devices, as well as all the associated tedious manual operations. There is no need for weighing the sample or manual solvent handling at any point of the analysis because the instrument is fully automated. It has been designed to be installed in a plant laboratory environment to control PP production, measure individual samples throughout consecutive shifts and require minimum bench space and utilities.
