Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE: DB) (DBK.DE), Germany's largest bank, has appointed Salman Al-Khalifa as the new head of global markets for Middle East and North Africa, or MENA, and Hussein Hassan as the head of structuring for MENA and head of Islamic finance.

Al-Khalifa, who has been head of global markets sales for MENA at Deutsche Bank, has previously held senior positions with Investcorp (BSE: INVCORP) in Bahrain and UBS AG (NYSE: UBS) (ZHR: UBSN) (UBSN.VX) in London. In his new role he will report to Yassine Bouhara, global head of structuring and head of global markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Hassan was previously the head of Islamic structuring at Deutsche Bank. In his new role he will report to Al-Khalifa in the region and Daniel Morley, head of emerging markets structuring at Deutsche Bank in London.
