Detroit Rubber Group.

The Detroit Rubber Group will hold its Fall 2004 Technical Symposium on "Realities of rubber product global sourcing," September 23 at the Burton Manor in Livonia, MI. Technical presentations will include: "Economic outlook." Robert Fry. DuPont; "Hiring concerns for the Pacific rim," Art Slnucker. Management Recruiters of Akron: "E-sourcing--who's doing it, how it works and what is the effect on the rubber industry," Patrick Furey, Ariba North America: "The global economy and the impact on the U.S. rubber industry," Bill Klingensmith, Akron Consulting; and "Machine/mold/ automation technology as a tool to counteract globalization forces."
