Caradvice, an automotive news magazine, has revealed details of the new Bentley Continental GT Hybrid from spy shots.

The model is almost identical to the standard Continental GT, but has an extra flap on the left rear quarter panel, which is likely to be where the plug-in hybrid engine's charge point is situated. It will use the 3.0 litre twin-turbo V6 hybrid system from the Bentayga Hybrid and Porsche Panamera 4 e-Hybrid, or the more potent 500kW 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 hybrid from the Panamera Turbo S e-Hybrid.

The hybrid Continental GT is likely to be launched later this year at the Paris motor show or early next year in Geneva.
