Carscoops, an automotive news magazine, has revealed details of the new BMW X3.

The model's silhouette is almost identical to the present model, but it features a bolder and taller front end, sharper headlights separated from the larger kidney grilles and the rear L-Shaped lights are now more rounded. It is based on BMW's modular CLAR platform and will be available with a choice of a turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive and an optional BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system.

The vehicle is to be launched at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show this autumn and is to arrive at United States dealerships next year.
