Destinator Redevelops Flagship Navigation Software for North American PDA Market; Company Emphasizes its Commitment to Growing North American Personal Navigation Space.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Users and manufacturers of PDAs and PDA phones can now take full advantage of the latest navigation software with the launch of Destinator 6, Destinator's newest navigation platform for PDAs. For users looking to add a navigation component to their PDA or upgrade their existing navigation software, Destinator 6 will be available through specialized resellers and online retailers. The new platform features a one gigabyte map of the United States and Canada in its entirety as well as millions of points of interest.

Destinator 6 for PDAs and PDA phones includes the following updated functionality:

--Enhanced User Experience - A more intuitive user interface with large touch screen menu buttons, a full-size keyboard for address input and the highest quality of 2D/3D mapping have been included in Destinator 6. The increased clarity of the screen and map makes it even easier to view current location information and street names.

--One Gigabyte Maps of U.S. and Canada - Before now, users had access to maps of the entire U.S. and Canada area but the user had to splice the maps in order to fit a designated area onto a memory card. Destinator 6 contains maps covering the entire U.S. and Canada area that fit on a one gigabyte memory card, with no splicing required.

--Enabled for Access to Real Time Information - Destinator 6 is now enabled for users to access real time information like traffic, weather, events and more when services are available.

--SMS Navigation - With Destinator 6, users can now easily send their friends and family a text message with their current location. When receiving the text message, one can navigate to the sender's location in just one click.

--Smart Search - Users can type in a partial address and the device will use a fast search algorithm which automatically completes the address being entered and show the results in a list.

"We are committed to expanding our presence in the North American navigation market and Destinator 6 is another example of how our navigation platform can be used to enhance any PDA or PDA phone," said Andrew Gage, vice president of marketing and product management, Destinator. "The navigation market in North America continues to grow at a double digit rate and we believe our navigation platform coupled with our knowledge of what end users are looking for will allow us to greatly benefit from this expansion."
