Desert Health Products Inc. (OTCBB: DHPI) Monday announced the introduction to the market of five new products: PCSPS for prostate disorders, Flu and Cold Clear, Liquijade Elixir, Restoring Essence II, and Restoring Essence I.
The products are the result of an agreement which was entered into in November 1999 with NHG Products Inc. to market and distribute 71 unique herbal products based on classic Chinese formulas.
According to Dr. Henry Han, a master herbalist and principal with NHG, the products embody Chinese medicine's basic philosophy of balance, integrating prevention and treatment of illness while enhancing well being of quality of life.
Of the five new product launches, DHPI believes the new PCSPS for prostate disorders will effectuate the most significant product demand. According to the United States Department of Health and Human Services as outlined by WebMD Health, prostate cancer is the most common noncutaneous cancer in American men.
After lung cancer, it accounts for more cancer deaths in men than any other single cancer site. As a result of these statistics, DHPI has focused a considerable amount of company efforts on our PCSPS product.
