Deputy premier mulls political process with Biden.

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Deputy Prime Minister Rafie al-Issawi on Wednesday discussed with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden the political process in Iraq , according to a statement of al-Issawi's office.

"Al-Issawi held a meeting on Wednesday (Sept. 16) at his office in Baghdad with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden and his accompanying delegation," said the statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

"The one hour meeting tackled the political process and the latest security developments in Iraq as well as the future of the U.S. forces in Iraq ," it added.
