Denver's downtown hot spot for tickets, information

It's hard to miss downtown Denver's discount ticket outlet on the 16th Street Mall--it's the only red British double-decker bus in town. The restored 1946 bus stays parked at 16th and Curtis streets, two blocks from the Denvor Center for the Performing Arts, offering half-price day-of-performance tickets, RTD bus passes, advance tickets to major sporting and entertainment events, and visitor information and maps.

This month, you'll find discounts on tickets to some events of the city's dozen major performing arts organizations, including the Denver Symphony, Denver Chamber Orchestra, and Denver Center Theatre Company. In the plaza next to the bus on various summer weekdays, musicians or dancers often give free noon performances.

The ticket bus is open 10 to 6 weekdays, 11 to 3 Saturdays.
