Denmark Nov '09 industrial output up 1.4% M/M.

NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-12 January 2010-Denmark Nov '09 industrial output up 1.4% M/M(C)1994-2010 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

12 January 2010 - Denmark's seasonally adjusted industrial production went up 1.4% month-on-month in November 2009 at fixed prices, but was 17% lower than in November 2008, Statistics Denmark said today.

As for September- November, the index declined 2.7% from the previous three months.

In November, the production index for durable consumer goods rose 0.3%. Within capital goods, the production edged down 0.6%. The output of non-durable consumer goods declined 1.2%.

Industrial turnover fell 0.5% on the month, declining 2.8% on the domestic market and rising 3.0% on the export market.

The order intake of the industry, at current prices, rose 3.1% on the month in November, pushed up by the order intake for durable consumer goods, which rose 6.6%.
